The short version
PCar Values is a free, read-only reference site. Right now we don't collect any personal information: there are no accounts, sign-ups, forms, comments, newsletters, analytics tools, advertising cookies or tracking pixels on the site.
What our hosting provider sees
Like every website, our pages are delivered by a hosting and network provider (Cloudflare). To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, it processes standard technical request data, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, under its own privacy policy. We don't use that data to identify you, and we don't sell or share it.
Cookies
PCar Values doesn't set cookies today. That may change. When we add the features below, the site may use cookies or similar technologies, some set by third parties, and we'll update this page before they go live:
- Analytics, to count visits and see which pages are useful. We'll prefer privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics where we can.
- Display advertising. Ad partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show and measure ads, and, where the law allows and you agree, to personalize them. Where consent is required (for example in the EU/UK or under certain U.S. state laws) we'll ask for it first, and you'll be able to change your choice later.
- Affiliate links. Some links to products or services (such as insurance, financing or vehicle history reports) may become affiliate links, clearly labeled. If you click one, the partner may use a cookie to record that you came from PCar Values so we can earn a commission. That never changes the price you pay or the data we show.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work without them.
Links to other sites
Every sale on PCar Values links to its original auction listing. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.
Children
The site is a general-audience reference and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices and rights
Because we don't collect personal information today, there's nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If that changes, this page will explain what's collected, why, and how to exercise any rights you have under the laws that apply to you, such as opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information or of targeted advertising.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes here and update the date at the top. Material changes, such as turning on analytics or advertising, will be made here before they take effect.
